Perfecto's Open Letter to Charles Barkley #PAUSE

Dear Charles Barkley,

As a fan of the NBA, your truthful, unabashed humorous banter has been very much appreciated. In addition, your rough-n-rugged style of play on the basketball court made me a huge fan of you also. BUT recently, as a some what "conscious" Black man, your latest Weight Watchers commercial has troubled me greatly. The sight of you wearing a dress, looking like a cross dresser, is an image that we, as black men, do not need to see. Hollywood has de-masculinized you. You wore the dress.

  Jaime Foxx wore the dress. Martin Lawerence wore the dress. Tyler Perry wears the dress. Shit, the whole damn Wayans family has worn the dress. Chuck, I thought you were bigger than that (no pun intended). This one lowlife degrading action, in my eyes, has devalued just about all of your good deeds. 

I wouldn't be surprised if those who run Hollywood give you a lot more action. ;). I sure hope it was worth it. Shoutout to David Chappelle: you were not paranoid. It's a fact, there are those who want to see us in a dress. Sadly, many of our entertainers happy oblige.
